The AYLUS Mclean Branch participated in Mclean Branch Music Buddies from May 2024 to April 2025 consistently each week. Sarah schedules every Tuesday 6-7, while Elise schedules every Friday 4-5.

The Aylus Mclean Branch volunteers participated in a Music Buddies club regularly for one a week during the school year. For every lesson we teach, we are impacting a different elementary school student from 10 various areas around Northern Virginia! We teach roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the mentor. We provide them with numerous music books and helpful materials to expand their knowledge with music and learning a brand new instrument! Towards the end of the school year, we also host a concert to showcase what the students have learned. Mentors have also contributed much time and effort in tutoring them with a brand new instrument.
