The fifth Python class took place on April 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It was led by Jiayi (Joey) Zhu, with assistance from Xiao Mao, Jerry Yang, and Kevin Chen.

During the session, students learned how to convert strings to integers, along with fundamental concepts of for and while loops. They were then introduced to the basics of the Turtle module, exploring its functions and creating a small project using it.

The class lasted one hour, and the accompanying PowerPoint presentation took 1.5 hours to prepare.

Starting from this session, we incorporated more one-on-one time to support students with their individual projects.

Our branch members volunteered from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

– Jiayi(Joey) Zhu: 2.5 hours (teaching; curriculum design and class slideshow creation)

– Xiao Mao: 1.0 hours (teaching)

– Jerry Yang: 1.0 hours (teaching)

– Kevin Chen: 1.0 hours (teaching)
