On April 5th, 2025, members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch gathered to celebrate a productive year, reflecting on our many activities and milestones. Our volunteers have made a significant impact, from delivering flowers to Charles House and baking for Meals on Wheels, to organizing clean-up events at Dry Creek and Bolin Creek. We’ve also supported causes like wildfire and hurricane recovery, crafted gifts for the Ronald McDonald House, and maintained the Little Library. Additionally, we’ve been recognized with “Branch of the Month” multiple times and “Branch of the Year” awards, highlighting our dedication to service.
We expressed our deepest gratitude to some special individuals. Luna has been a driving force, leading volunteer events and updating our website. Nicholas and Ethan have shown unwavering leadership in key initiatives, and we’re excited to hear from them as they move on to college—congratulations on their graduation!
A huge thank you to our advisors Hongyan, Yi, and Mei for their guidance and mentorship, which have shaped our success. We also recognized Zhengyan and Annie for their incredible generosity donations, which has allowed us to expand our impact.
Finally, to every volunteer—thank you for your trust, support, and dedication. Everyone’s involvement makes all the difference in our ability to achieve our mission.
