Reported by Jerry Yang
The sixth online 3D modeling camp was hosted on 3/2/2025, and was taught by Jerry Yang with assistance from Eric Huang from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Students had a detailed recap about transforming, edit mode, select modes, and orthographic views. Students also had a warmup where they created a 3D computer monitor with edit mode, and had a chance to share their creation to the class. After, they worked on the animal project (3D model of a horse) with guidance from Jerry, where they continued to shape a cube to a reference image of the horse. Additionally, Jerry spent one and a half hours making a PowerPoint presentation with 22 slides recapping previous topics and displaying the warmup, along with an in-depth guide to help students that were behind to shape the horse.
Our branch members volunteered from 11:00 am to 12:30 am, contributing a total of 5 volunteer hours:
– Jerry Yang: 1.5 hours (curriculum design and class slideshow creation)
– Jerry Yang: 1.5 hours (teaching)
– Eric Huang: 1.5 hours (teaching)
