Youth Entrepreneur: Pearland Volunteer Prepared for the New Fundraising Project on Feb 3, 2025

The AYLUS volunteers are gearing up for an exciting new fundraising project, Tealine, with the aim of expanding its food product offerings and further supporting their community outreach initiatives.  The new products will include milk tea, cookies, rice rolls…, which will not only attract a wider customer base but will also raise more funds to support local causes and events, such as community service projects and educational programs.
In preparation for this new venture, the volunteers are committed to enhancing their skills and ensuring the highest standards of food safety. To do this, the project lead has diligently studied to earn both food handler and food manager certifications. These certifications are essential to ensure that the team operates in compliance with health regulations and provides safe, high-quality products to customers. By obtaining these certifications, the volunteers will be equipped to manage food preparation and safety protocols with professionalism, which is crucial as the business expands.
