On January 31, 2025, we were volunteering with other AYLUS members in the non-
profit organization called “Feed My Starving Children” beginning at 7:15 PM. It is a
Christian nonprofit with the purpose of ending hunger. There was a total of 6 people
who came to the organization to volunteer. We packed MannaPack rice, which used 4
ingredients: vitamins, veggies, soy, and rice. When we were volunteering, we were given
procedures for each of the jobs like labeling, warehouse, packaging, as well as sealing.
We also did some challenges to see which group could get the most boxes while music
was being played. We were table #2 and won the challenge of getting 5 boxes in a single
table first. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes, we finished our food packaging and began
to clean up. We packed more than 140 boxes with over 30000 meals and fed over 80
kids for 1 year.
