On 12/10/2024, the Great Neck AYLUS branch hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library from 6-7 pm.
Ivy li worked with one kid, reading books including Polar Express. Xingzhi Li read three books with another kid. He read them aloud with the student to practice pronouncing english words. Lia Huang read two books with another kid. She also assisted in translating documents for a parent. Sophia Li read a mystery books with a student, and helped him with a writing assignment for school.
Overall, it was another very successful tutoring session!

On 12/12/2024, the Great Neck AYLUS branch hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library from 6-7 pm.
Xiaomiao Yao came extra early to teach starting at 5:50pm. She helped a student with their math homework. Sabrina Yang helped a student with their reading skills. Xingzhi Li also assisted a student in reading. He read aloud with the kid, working on pronunciation and learning new words. Lia Huang helped a student with their science and english homework. She also taught an adult some new english vocabulary using an english learning textbook.
