Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) Branch Junior Reporters are talented in bilingual skills, reading, writing, and art, all in favor of Chinese and American cultures. Using their talents, GPA Junior Reporters continued its “Culture Promotion” project on March 20th, 2019 by contributing articles in Chinese with art illustration to a newspaper “Junior Reporter Times”.
On pages A1 and A2 of its March 20th, 2019 issue, GPA members Edward Cao (A1), Sophia Chen (A2), Han Li, and Ming Li (A1) each spent 3 hours to author an article, sharing how much they enjoyed a wonderful performance in New York City. On page A3, Sophia Chen spent another 3 hours to author her second article, comparing the Super Bowl in the United States and Lunar New Year in China. On page A7, Catherine Feng spent 3 hours to author her article recalling her volunteer work at the Chinese New Year Party in the Montgomery community. On page A8, Sophia Chen spent 2 more hours to draw an illustration for an article published on page A8.
Acting as the Art Editor-in-Chief, Cassie Tammy Wang spent 6 hours reviewing all 6 pages layout before they were published. GPA looks forward to seeing more articles for the benefit of “Culture Promotion”, which could help make our community better!
