Chapel Hill Branch Volunteers to Clean Up Litter at Bolin Creek Trail on Nov 17, 2024

On the sunny afternoon of November 17, three members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch took part in a community clean-up along the Bolin Creek Trail. The trail, a popular route for walkers and cyclists, sees heavy use year-round, contributing to environmental damage from litter. Aware of the risks of pollution and the harm litter can cause to local wildlife, our group dedicated an hour and a half to picking up trash along the trail. Their efforts led to a significant amount of litter being cleared, improving both the safety and appearance of the area. Our members are proud to contribute to the cleanliness of our community and remain committed to making Chapel Hill a safer, more beautiful place for all.

Volunteers who participated in this event are Luna Chen (1.5 hours), Nicholas Wang (1.5 hours) and Owen Xie (1.5 hours).
