On November 3, 2024, Manhasset Branch members volunteered at a Half Marathon and 5k at Heckscher State Park by helping runners navigate the course and keeping cars clear of the track. Members arrived at the park early in the morning and volunteered until the last of the runners had completed the event.
Members who participated: Benjamin Yang (5 hours 30 min), Ambrose Shu (5 hours 30 min), Nathaniel Zheng (5 hours 30 min).
