Greater Princeton AYLUS Volunteers and Junior Reporters Promoted Traditional Culture on February 20, 2019

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) Branch in NJ has many members talented in bilingual skills, reading, writing, and art, who are all in favor of Chinese and American cultures. Using their talents, Greater Princeton member and Junior Reporters continues its “Culture Promotion” project by contributing articles in Chinese with art illustration to a newspaper “Junior Reporter Times” regularly.

On page A4 of its February 20th, 2019 issue, GPA member and Junior Reporter Han Li spent 3 hours to author an article, sharing with us his recent thought of adding a new Memorial in Washington D.C. Han proposed that the new Memorial, rather than for the War Veterans, should be established for all gun violence victims.

Cassie Tammy Wang, acting as the Art Editor-in-Chief for the newspaper, spent 6 hours to review the layouts of all 6 pages. We look forward to reading more articles authored by GPA members for the benefit of “Culture Promotion”, which would help make our community better.
