Morrisville Branch Hosts and Volunteers at 2nd Western Wake Children’s Business Fair on October 19, 2024

On October 19th, 2024, twelve members of the AYLUS Morrisville Branch volunteered at the Western Wake Children’s Business Fair in Cary. 60 child entrepreneurs showcased their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This event was initiated and organized by our own branch members Kenna Zhang, Claire Zhong and Sunny Zhao. They spent a lot of hours on fair location negotiation, raising fair funds, reaching out to the community, and detailed planning for the fair day.

Our volunteers helped set up and run this event by setting up booths, offering free face painting, directing traffic and much more. The fair attracted hundreds of local residents and some of the young entrepreneurs made up to $500. We were excited to be able to offer these young entrepreneurs and our local community an enjoyable weekend filled with inspiration, entertainment, and creativity.
