On August 1st, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members cleaned up their local park.
Members started off by going around the park, watching for any hidden trash in the bushes and under the tables. Then, they moved onto the lawn, noticing that there were a lot of candy wrappers thrown around. While cleaning, members met a lady who happily chatted with members, wanting to know more about the organization and what they do. After cleaning the playground, and carefully going through the woodchips, members went to the parking lot. There, many cigarette butts were littered about along with drinks underneath trees and bushes. Members then threw away the trash and said goodbye.
