On July 20, Aylus members went to Frisco Environmental Collection Center to recycle the old batteries. The main part of this event actually started before this with members went around collecting batteries either from their own houses and friends, neighbors. Then the batteries have to be sorted as rechargeable and household batteries can’t be recycled together. Then we all met up to recycle all of our household batteries. We not only advocated the importance of battery recycling but spread the spirit of our organization – AYLUS. We will continue our used batteries recycling event going forward to benefit our communities and keep our cities clean.
