AYLUS partnered with the Pearland Chinese Association on November 25, 2018 from 1 to 6 pm for the Starlight Talent Show Competition. The contest allowed students to have an opportunity to perform their talents and compete with fellow companions. The event consisted of two shifts. The first shift consisted of volunteers decorating the stage and getting the show ready, while the second shift included volunteers running the backstage, helping judges calculate scores, and cleaning up. AYLUS members also performed an entertaining Chinese Yoyo act for the audience and did an amazing job. Ultimately, all of the AYLUS members helped the show greatly and the show couldn’t have been possible without everyone’s help.
