On Saturday, March 25, 2023, two members from AYLUS Morrisville/Cary Branch volunteered at the North Carolina Science & Engineering Fair (NCSEF).
In this event, Students in grades 3 -12 from across North Carolina who have advanced from one of our ten Regional Fairs, compete for state honors. Independent student-led research expands their knowledge of a subject and exposes them to the excitement found in discovery and problem solving found in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics fields. Sharing their discoveries promotes the development of communication skills and allows our students to become experts in their area of research. Our volunteers served in the award group by setting up the trophies and medals for award ceremony, helping setting up the award room, and handing out award program for three award ceremonies (elementary, junior and senior).
