Rancho Cucamonga Branch participated community’s event- A Snowy Hula Day on12/10/2022

On December 10, 2022, six members of AYLUS RC Branch participated in the community’s large-scale event, A Snowy Hula Day, held for children. Due to the warm climate in Southern California, it is difficult for children to experience playing in the snow unless they go to the mountains. Therefore, the community invested in creating several artificial snow play areas to provide children with a chance to play in the snow. Our team was divided into two time slots since the event lasted the entire day. Our main responsibility was to maintain order and safety for the children in each of the play areas.

We felt proud and honored to participate in this community event. Seeing the happy smiles on the faces of the children was heartwarming and inspiring. It was a great feeling to know that we were able to contribute to making this event a success.

As volunteers, we were grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community. We understood the importance of providing a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy their winter break. Our team was committed to ensuring that the children had a memorable experience while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

We were impressed by the community’s efforts to create an environment that allowed children to enjoy the snow despite living in a warm climate. It was clear that the event brought the community together and provided a platform for people to connect and create lasting memories.

In conclusion, A Snowy Hula Day was a successful event, and our team was proud to have been a part of it. We hope to continue participating in community events like this in the future to help create a positive impact on the lives of the people in our community.

The names of the 6 members who participated in the event and each of whom did 3 hours of volunteer service are:  Yongxi Hu; Yuxuan Liu; Yangxuezhe Sun; Jingning Wu; Bryan Wang; Ryan Wang
