AYLUS Dix Hills Branch works with the Nassau County Museum of Art to set up a lunar new year celebration February 21, 2023. Volunteers set up tables, chairs, and decorations, such as lanterns and dragons.
On February 22, 2023, the very next day, AYLUS members worked as the MC of the event introducing various talents performing for lunar new years. nine young artists from Juilliard in a Manhattan school of music performed.
AYLUS Dix Hills hopes to make a positive impact on and support their community as they celebrate more cultures.
