Basking Ridge Branch organized Disaster Relief Drive for Turkey Earthquake Survivors and delivered the donations to New York collecting station on 2/21/23

AYLUS Basking Ridge Branch organized a Disaster Relief Drive for the Turkey Earthquake Survivors with the Bridgewater and Edison Branch. BR AYLUS members advertised the Drive and sent flyers to places within the local community. It was a really successful event and got a great response. The donations were collected, categorized, and labeled by BR AYLUS volunteers. BR AYLUS also collected all the donations from the Bridgewater and Edison Branch and delivered all of the donations to a Donation collecting station in New York on 2/21/23. All the donations will be sent to Turkey by the Turkish airline.

Designed the flyer (2HR 2/10), organized the event, advertised, sent flyers and email the event to local communities and schools (2HR, 2/11), collected, categorized, and labeled the donations from local communities (2HR per day for 2/12,2/13,2/14), combine and pack the donations from Bridgewater and Edison Branch (2HR for 2/20), loaded all the donations to truck and chaperoned all donations to a New York collecting station and offloaded them. (3 HR for 2/21)

Collected, categorized, and labeled the donations from local communities (2HR per day for 2/12,2/13,2/14,2/15, 3HR for 2/16), Olivia also got the most donations in BR Branch.

BR AYLUS member Isabelle Qi (11 volunteer HR)

Advertised the event to local communities (2HR 2/11), collected, categorized, and labeled the donations from local communities (2HR per day for 2/12,2/13,2/14,2/15). Isabelle also helped with making and printing donation sheet for the Branch ( 1HR for 2/19).

BR AYLUS member Kenneth Cheng, Kevin Jin and Emily Jin (10 volunteer HR each)

Advertised the event to local communities (2HR 2/11), collected, categorized, and labeled the donations from local communities (2HR per day for 2/12,2/13,2/14,2/15).
