The AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at the Nature Discovery Center on Friday,
October 14, 2022, from 4:30PM-6:30PM.
Every October, the Nature Discovery Center holds a pumpkin patch event where a wide variety of pumpkins can be bought by the community to celebrate Halloween. Today, volunteers helped unload and stage hundreds of pumpkins on the front lawn to prepare for the Pumpkin Patch Fall Festival this coming weekend. The pumpkins the volunteers staged include regular carving pumpkins, sugar pumpkins, and many heirloom varieties.
The following volunteers attended this event (2 hours): Justin Wang, Helena Wang, Miranda Wang, Sophia Li, Alexander Tang, Valerie Yu, and Lucas Wang.
