On August 5th, 2022 three RCA members reunited at the local park for a new clean-up event. The members cleaned up trash and litter found near Harveston lake and the local sports-park. After 1.5 hr of clean-up the trash was properly disposed of.
Plastic pollutes our environment and takes years to degrade. By keeping our community and parks clean RCA contributes to a greener and healthier environment. The community has shown their gratitude by expressing how pleased they are through direct feedback. RCA will continue to host regular park clean-up events to raise awareness of the pollution and to remind neighbors to not carelessly litter.
