From August 5th to August 17th, the board of AYLUS Raritan Valley (Daniel Yu and Vivian Sun) hosted a school supply drive to provide for the EB Education Foundation. With the upcoming school year ahead of many, the branch wanted to help students in need of school supplies. To spread word of the drive, Daniel Yu created a flyer, which was then sent to WeChat groups, emails and our discord server. From our efforts, we were able to collect 102 school supply items, which included notebooks, pens, pencils, binders, folders, and many more. We were also able to deliver a $30 gift card and donated $100, which came from what we have earned through tutoring English to students. Many of our members were able to pitch in and donate to the drive.
Thanks to all the members who participated in this drive, it will surely help those kids in need of school supplies!
