In August, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) members teamed up and started their Music Theory Education Program. The in-person education program allows GPA members to provide music theory to children in the local community.
On August 21st, the Music Theory Program Lead, GPA member Catherine You (2 hrs), and her assistant, Melanie You (2 hrs), went over Chapter 2 of Music Theory ABRSM Level 1. Their students learned about Elementary Time Values, Time signatures and Notes on the Stave during this in person education session.
