On Saturday, June 11, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) volunteered with the Kids Run at the Mastercard® New York Mini 10K returns to scenic Central Park for the 50th running of the world’s original women-only road race. Founded in 1972—and named after a symbol of women’s liberation, the miniskirt—this event empowers women and girls of all ages and fitness levels to come together, be active, and accomplish a running milestone alongside other inspiring runners.
Registration for this event is FREE and open to participants ages 8 to 18 of all abilities. Every finisher receives a medal and t-shirt as a souvenir. Why Run with Rising New York Road Runners? Rising New York Road Runners events are designed to be fun, inclusive, and an opportunity for our youth to see what they are capable of. Registration for all Rising New York Road Runners events is completely free and made possible by the generosity of our community.
