Syosset AYLUS Volunteers at LINPI 5/17/25

On May 17th, members of the Syosset AYLUS organization volunteered at Long Island Native Plant Initiative, where we assisted the plant sale they had going on, and various tasks to support the greenhouse. Members first assisted with planting smaller plants into pots. Some members then continued to remove the wilted leaves inside the pots, and some were clearing the weeds on the grounds of the greenhouse. Nearing the end of our time there, Pam requested that some of our members would go help sand down some seeds and alphabetically sort the plant tags. Overall, all attending members of the AYLUS organization provided support to the staff of the LINPI.
