West Essex AYLUS members volunteered to distribute and post “A Walk for a Lifetime” event posters by Spectrum 360 in several local Livingston and Millburn organizations and retail stores.
West Essex AYLUS members visited ShopRite, Livingston Public Library, Kings Food Market, the YMCA, Millburn Library, Kings, shopRite, Laundry, and Bubble Tea Store to promote the annual event, “A Walk for a Lifetime,” hosted by Spectrum 360. Spectrum 360 is a special education school that provides individuals with autism and related challenges the specialized programs and support they need to achieve their aspirations, lead thriving lives, and fully engage with their families and communities.
The volunteers visited these the local organizations and retail stores again and again talked with the owners and successfully received full support from the owners/managers, posting the event posters in designated areas. Their efforts helped raise awareness about this wonderful event and encouraged more people in the Livingston community to participate!
