Aylus Syosset Branch Volunteers Support Long Island Cares Food Drive at King Kullen in Manhasset on 05/18/2025

On May 18th, 2025, from 10am to 4pm, the Syosset AYLUS Branch held a volunteer event to help support Long Island Cares. The event was organized into two shifts, one from 10am to 1pm and another from 1pm to 4pm. Volunteers spent the day handing out flyers and collecting donations from shoppers outside 1430 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, New York.

Volunteers stood near the entrance, politely offering flyers that explained the cause and what items were needed. Many members of the community took their time and went out to buy food items and donated. Everyone worked together as a team to keep everything organized. Volunteers rotated between handing out flyers and collecting items.

The event went well overall. Volunteers were respectful, hard-working, and showed great teamwork. It was also a reminder of how kind and generous a community can be. Events like these help us give back and make a real difference.
