On May 3rd, 2025, we joined fellow AYLUS members in volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, a Christian nonprofit dedicated to combating global hunger. Our shift began at 7:15 PM, with a total of nine volunteers participating.
During the event, we packed MannaPack Rice—a nutritious blend of vitamins, vegetables, soy, and rice. Volunteers were assigned specific roles such as labeling, packaging, sealing, and warehouse duties, with clear instructions provided for each task. To make the experience more fun and interactive, we engaged in friendly competitions to see which team could pack the most boxes, all while music played in the background. Our group worked at Table 8.
After about 1 hour and 45 minutes of packing, we transitioned to cleanup. By the end of the night, we had packed 133 boxes—equivalent to 28,728 meals—enough to feed 78 children for an entire year.
