On May 11th, 2025, volunteers from the AYLUS Great Neck branch participated in a park cleanup event at Kings Point Park. Volunteers arrived at 12:30 PM and worked until 2:30 PM to help improve the park’s cleanliness and appearance.
During the event, volunteers split into two groups of boys and girls. The girls’ group focused on picking up litter throughout the park, making the space cleaner and more welcoming for the community. The boys’ group spread wood chips along walking paths and the park, helping to enhance appearance and overall park maintenance.
The volunteer lasted two hours and had a noticeable impact on the park’s condition. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteers, Kings Point Park looked more vibrant and well-kept by the end of the day. Everyone worked very hard and the event was a successful volunteer effort to help the community and the park look better than before.
