On May 4, 2025, members of the AYLUS Great Neck Branch arrived at the Great Neck Main
Library to engage children in multiple arts and crafts activities along with reading two books.
Two members read the stories We Who Produce Pearls by Joanna Ho and Two New Years
by Richard Ho. Some members assisted in crocheting activities, creating items like small
rats and bears, while other members created origami flowers, birds, butterflies, and bowties.
There was also drawing using markers and scrap paper. Five members in total participated
in the event to create an enjoyable experience for the children
