AYLUS San Clemente Branch Members Volunteered at Mercy Warehouse(#6) on May 4, 2025

On Saturday, May 4th, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, two members of AYLUS San Clemente Branch, Tylon Zhou and Shuqi Hu volunteered at Mercy Warehouse to help sort and organize clothing. They signed in when they arrived at noon and got started right away. Their first task was sorting women’s dresses and shoes. They made sure each item was placed in the correct rack so it would be easier for some shoppers to find what they need.

After finishing that, they moved on to long-sleeve men’s shirts. They organized them by size and hung them on the racks. By the end, they had completed three full racks of sorted shirts. Everything looked a lot more organized and easier to go through.

Shuqi’s mom, Xiang Zheng, was also there helping out and supervising them. She watched over them and made the work go smoother with her help and dedication.

The job was finished with teamwork by staying focused, and a bit of patience to finish. They felt really good seeing how even a small act of kindness can help people who need those clothes. Even though it wasn’t anything too big, they felt good knowing they were doing something that helps out the community.

Event was participated by: Tylon Zhou (3 horus); Shuqi Hu (3 hours)

Supervised by Xiang Zheng
