Aylus Frisco & Plano Hosted 8th African Library Donation Project on April 18th 2025

The weather was sunny and was particularly pleasant. A total of 15 volunteers gathered together at the Frisco Community Park to participate in this packaging activity. In the end, we successfully completed the packaging of 27 boxes, and donated a total of 1,018 books.

With the advancement of the project, our volunteers are also becoming more and more experienced. Each member has a clear division of labor and cooperation. The work content includes: book classification, packing, recording quantity, weighing, packing and sealing boxes, final inspection, pasting box and waybills, etc. Everyone cooperated tacitly and was full of energy, and completed all the packaging tasks efficiently in just two hours. After the activity, everyone cleaned up the venue and took photos.

At 3:00 p.m., our second batch of volunteers arrived at the park and began to carry the bookcase to the pickup truck. Although each box weighs between 20 and 30 pounds, everyone still completed the handling task with great efficiency. Under the leadership of several volunteer parents, all the packages were successfully delivered to the nearby FedEx outlets, and the meaningful moment was recorded there.

We are sincerely happy and proud to participate in the eighth “African Library Donation Project”. In every activity, we are more tacit and skilled. All this cannot be separated from the joint efforts and selfless dedication of book donors, volunteers and parents.
