On April 13th, AYLUS Houston volunteers participated in a joyful and heartwarming Wonder Kids session, celebrating the Easter season with children with special needs. Over the course of two hours, volunteers engaged the kids in a festive Easter egg hunt, bringing excitement and smiles all around. A special visit from the Easter Bunny made the event even more magical, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
In addition to the egg hunt, we hosted a variety of interactive activities, including arts and crafts, where children could express their creativity and take home colorful, handmade keepsakes. These inclusive activities were designed to encourage self-expression, social interaction, and fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
We’re grateful to all the volunteers whose energy and kindness helped make this event so special. Their efforts continue to foster a sense of belonging and joy for children of all abilities. AYLUS Houston remains committed to supporting inclusive events like Wonder Kids, and we look forward to many more opportunities to connect with and uplift our community.
