On April 19, 2025, members of West Essex generously volunteered in the Love Serving Autism tennis program, which offers specialized instruction to children with special needs.
This inclusive program is designed to support children by providing therapeutic racquet sports instruction that enhances communication, motor coordination, life skills, and positive behavior on the court.
During the session, coaches and volunteers focused on fostering individual achievement and sportsmanship, while also teaching the physical fundamentals of tennis. The program incorporates adaptive tennis equipment and integrates communication technology to support language development and effective interaction.
