The AYLUS Mclean Branch participated in a Card-Making Volunteer on April 12th, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Reported by Emma Tao
This initiative was part of our ongoing effort to uplift the elderly as all of the cards created during this event are intended to be delivered to local senior homes, where we hope they will bring smiles and a sense of connection to the residents. Volunteers dedicated their time and creativity to crafting handmade greeting cards filled with kind-hearted messages and colorful, thoughtful illustrations. We believe that even the smallest gestures of kindness, like a handwritten note or cheerful drawing, can have a meaningful impact on someone’s day. Volunteer events like these not only brighten the lives of recipients but also strengthen our own sense of empathy and community responsibility.
