AYLUS members volunteered at the Annual Spring Fling, hosted by the Pearland Animal Resource Center and Wag Again Rescue. The event featured fun activities for the community, including photos with the Easter Bunny, food trucks, an Easter egg hunt, vendor booths, a bounce house, and a silent auction.
Volunteers arrived early to help with setup, including arranging booths, decorating, and preparing the event space. During the event, one AYLUS member wore the Easter Bunny costume, creating a fun photo opportunity for families and children. Other members assisted with event operations, guided attendees, and helped maintain an organized and welcoming environment. AYLUS also hosted its own fundraising booth, selling plants to raise money for future service projects. After the event, volunteers helped clean up and restore the venue.
Overall, it was a successful and rewarding day of service, teamwork, and community engagement.
