Over the days of March 23rd – April 5th, 2025, four members from our branch have continued volunteering their time to plant seeds and create the ideal conditions for healthy plant growth. We regularly moved the trays to ensure they stayed in warm areas, maintaining temperatures between 65–75°F. Each day, we checked the peat pods, watered them, and kept them moist—being careful not to overwater.
Some seedlings successfully sprouted, while others didn’t. For the pods where seeds didn’t emerge, we replanted by gently placing two new seeds in each hole, hoping for better results. This daily routine took each of us about 15–20 minutes, and everyone contributed with care and dedication.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Eric Sun (5 hours), Nicholas Wang (3 hours), Matthew Guo (4 hours) and Justin Huang (4 hours)
