AYLUS Roslyn Volunteers at the Center for Science Teaching and Learning on April 12, 2025

On April 12, 2025, the AYLUS Roslyn branch visited the Center for Science Teaching and Learning to assist with a fun and educational community event. We volunteered at multiple stations, including face painting and a “create your own kite” activity, where we helped children express their creativity. In addition, we guided visitors through the dinosaur exhibit, answering questions and sharing fun facts. Many kids were fascinated by the life-sized models and interactive displays, making it a memorable experience for both them and us. It was a great opportunity to engage with the community and inspire curiosity in science and learning.

Members who participated include:

Nicholas Chao (6.5 hours), Simon Long (6.5 hours), Yang Amy Wu (6.5 hours), Michael Zhang (6.5 hours), Leo Zheng (6.5 hours), Leah Chan (6.5 hours), Leta Tao (6.5 hours)
