Newtown AYLUS Members Volunteer at Local Library

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM EST, David Soong and Edward Soong volunteered at the Levittown Branch of the Bucks County Free Library. Their efforts had a significant impact on the community, contributing to a well-organized and accessible library environment for patrons.

By organizing and shelving a variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, the volunteers helped ensure that the library remained an orderly and easy-to-navigate space. This effort directly benefited library visitors, as they were able to locate and access the resources they needed more efficiently. The smooth functioning of the library was made possible through the careful arrangement of materials, which also supported the staff in maintaining a welcoming environment.
Moreover, the duo’s assistance in guiding patrons to specific books enhanced the overall library experience, ensuring that everyone had the help they needed to fully engage with the library’s resources. The impact of their work extended beyond just organization—it contributed to creating a positive atmosphere that encouraged learning and community engagement.
Their volunteer session not only contributed to the operational efficiency of the library but also fostered a sense of community, ensuring that the Levittown Branch remained a valuable resource for local residents.
Members who participated were David Soong and Edward Soong. Each contributed 2 hours of their time.
