Today volunteers came out to the garden from 9-3 to help with many important tasks. They began with the organization and distribution of small sprouts for classrooms and families before transitioning to harvesting broccoli. Afterwards, they began weeding garden beds and the walkways between the greenhouses to prep for the formation of new pathways, which were formed by layering cardboard and spreading wood chips on top.
