AYLUS Lake Washington Branch hosted the first beginner Python camp (Week1) on Mar.16,2025(Event#30)

The AYLUS Lake Washington Branch hosted its first Beginner Python Camp on March 16, 2025. This event marked the launch of the camp, led by Joey Zhu and supported by teaching assistants Xiao, Ryan, and Jerry. The class ran from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and saw the participation of 14  students. During this session, Students started out with installing python and VS code and were introduced to integers and strings. Total class time was 1h, and PowerPoint took 1.5hs to make.

Our branch members volunteered from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm:

– Joey Zhu: 1.5 hours (curriculum design and class slideshow creation)

– Joey Zhu: 1hours (teaching)

– Jerry Yang: 1 hours (teaching)

– Xiao Mao : 1 hours (teaching)

– Ryan Lee: 1 hours (teaching)
