Activity & Impact
On March 2, 2025, four members of the AYLUS North Hollywood Branch volunteered at a compost hub in Griffith Park from 2:30pm-4:30pm. This hub was established by LA Compost and works to reduce landfill waste. Activities done by volunteers included sifting and tending to compost piles. Sifting was a multistep process where the finished compost was sifted into the finer premium compost and mulch that can be reused. This organization is helping to make a difference in the wellbeing of our planet, and the help of our volunteers supported this goal.
