The AYLUS Pearland branch organized a vibrant, full-day performance program at Pearland Town Center on February 8, 2025, to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Volunteers began planning a month in advance, with Christy Zheng and Gavin Song leading the effort to collaborate with numerous local organizations. Their coordination brought together a diverse lineup of performances showcasing rich cultural traditions, including dragon and lion dances, tai chi demonstrations, vocal performances, traditional Chinese instrumental music, dance showcases, and a children’s fashion show. The event highlighted the community’s strong support for cultural appreciation and festive celebration.
