On February 16, 2025, the House of China Balboa Park San Diego invited three AYLUS members to serve as co-hosts for the Lunar New Year Fair. Our members took on the role of co-hosting the entire program, announcing the lineup of performances, introducing Chinese traditions, sharing Chinese riddles, and engaging with an audience of over a thousand people.
The festival featured a vibrant showcase of musicians, folk dancing, singing, face-changing performances, Wushu demonstrations, and the ever-popular lion dance to drive away bad spirits.
The following three AYLUS members participated this event, and each got 6 volunteer hours:
