Volunteers from the Greenville, NC branch of AYLUS went to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina’s Greenville location and helped pack peppers this afternoon. Around 500,000 residents in North Carolina face food insecurity every day, making volunteering essential to ensuring that nutritious food reaches those who need it most. It was a busy but productive afternoon, and members were happy to pack a carton of peppers.
