On October 6 and 27, 2024, AYLUS East Cobb members Jerry Xu, Kaisen Li, and Kaila Li conducted a mentoring program for four 4th-grade students. The program focused on academic support, where the volunteers taught study skills, including time management and organization. They also provided math and English lessons tailored to the students’ level, reinforcing key academic concepts.
In addition to the academic lessons, Jerry, Kaisen, and Kaila engaged the students in outdoor games and basketball coaching. They worked on developing skills like dribbling, shooting, and teamwork. The program successfully helped the students improve academically and fostered teamwork and physical fitness. AYLUS East Cobb remains committed to positively impacting the community.
