On January 12th, from 1:30 to 4:30, AYLUS Dix Hills volunteers helped at the Long Island
Chinese School. This class was the first back from the winter break, and classrooms
were busy reviewing topics that had been covered during the break.
The volunteers were divided into separate classrooms and took on various tasks,
including wiping whiteboards, printing extra tests, helping students, and watching over
the class. Some classrooms featured presentations, and the volunteers were able to
help prepare and work on them
Thanks to the efforts of the volunteers, the classrooms were able to maintain a
safe and supportive learning environment. Ensuring a fun and enjoyable learning
experience for all involved.
