On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Newtown AYLUS team stepped up to play a pivotal role in organizing a heartwarming concert at the local senior center. The performances included dances, singing, and instrument playing, many of which honored Chinese culture and music in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year.

They took charge of program announcements, introducing each performer with enthusiasm and providing context that added a personal touch to every act. Behind the scenes, the team collaborated to set up equipment and arrange materials, ensuring all presentations were well-prepared. Their dedication and teamwork created a seamless experience that delighted both performers and the senior residents in attendance.
The event was a success: performers were able to showcase their talents, senior citizens were able to engage with different generations and cultures, and volunteers were able to support the community and create a sense of belonging and cheer.
