On December 30th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members went to their local food bank.
Members checked in on the computer before starting by helping unload the food boxes from the van. After helping weigh the carts, members were given a cart of spoiled bread to throw away in the dumpster. Then they headed to the back of the warehouse where they were assigned to a certain food and then started making food bags. When they ran out, members would go bring in more crates of their food items. Members went to get new gloves before starting to pack boxes. Again, they were all assigned different food items and would pack them neatly into the box. Members packed almost 200 boxes of food that will be given out later.
