On December 21st 2024, Murrieta AYLUS conducted a park clean up. The volunteers split up at the start and cleaned along the sidewalks, gathering up various candy wrappers and plastic bits and bagging them. After meeting at the opposite end, they scanned across the grass to find more bits of trash and a plastic bottle they bagged separately to recycle later. In the parking lot they were able to find more bits of glass and food waste and wrappers, which were all collected before they threw away the bags of trash.
